I first saw the Felice Brothers at the Rosendale Street Festival where they were hopping around barefoot on stage. After seeing them again at Colony Cafe I was sure this band would go on to bigger things. Since then their sound has changed significantly from old time folk / rock to a more contemporary style. While it may be a bit different from the guitar, piano, accordion driven numbers they are famous for, this video for “A Fire at the Pageant” is wild. Taken from their latest release Celebration, Florida, this track features a great chorus that really builds the song up.
