This week we take a look at new release from David Lynch. Crazy Clown Time is his first solo album. He has worked with Blue Bob, Sparklehorse’s Mark Linkous, and Danger Mouse in addition to his collaborations with Angelo Badalamenti. The first track on the record sets the tone with “Pinky’s Dream” featuring the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O. on vocals. David loves to get that great tremolo sound out of the guitar and paired with the great vocals from Karen, this song gets beneath your skin. This album features a diverse range of soundscapes. For another flavor check out the title track “Crazy Clown Time”. There was a video competition for “Good Day Today” and “I Know” and both videos are excellent and creepy.
