Tom Waits returns with his first album of original material in seven years. This new record, Bad as Me showcases an array of talents and musicians. Songs jump from blues to rockabilly, r&b to jazz, impressing the listener with their sonic explorations. His son Casey is back again playing all sorts of instruments, while Keith Richards, Marc Ribot, and Flea are just some of the experienced players he brings along. He and Kathleen Brennan (wife, songwriter and producer) have turned out the terrific record that we’ve been craving since 2004’s Real Gone.
